• As Procurement Excellence Manager at American Airlines, you will be instrumental in transforming our procurement operations. What You'll Do

• Lead and manage procurement projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
• Develop and implement data analysis strategies to optimize procurement activities and supplier performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement strategies are aligned with company objectives.
• Utilize advanced analytical techniques to forecast market trends and inform strategic decisions.
• Provide guidance on procurement best practices and emerging technologies across our Source to Pay.
• Report on procurement metrics and performance, presenting insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Facilitate supplier enablement by developing strategies that streamline supplier onboarding and management.
• Create and maintain e-catalogues, ensuring they reflect current offerings and pricing.
• Develop sourcing templates to standardize procurement practices across the organization.
• Focus on automation and digitization within the procure-to-pay cycle to increase efficiency and reduce manual work.
• Utilize advanced analytics to create dashboards and define Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) KPIs that track and measure procurement performance.
  
  

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Strategy, Finance, Business Management, or other related field
• 4 years of experience in source-to-pay, contract life cycle management, and spend analytics, including negotiation, compliance, and optimization
  
  

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Advanced degree in Supply Chain or other related field
• Experience in supplier enablement and e-catalogues creation
  
  

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

• Demonstrated ability to drive change and influence cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in creating sourcing templates and a strong focus on automation and digitization
• Skilled in creating dashboards and establishing CPO KPIs
• Passion for sustainability and sutainable sourcing practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
