Procurement Specialist -- Remote | WFH

Responsibilities

Process purchase requests efficiently and accurately, ensuring all requisitions are authorized and complete.

Manage purchase orders using our supply chain software system, maintaining meticulous records.

Collaborate closely with various departments to understand their procurement needs and provide timely support.

Proactively identify alternative sources and solutions for backordered products, ensuring continuity of supply.

Monitor order status daily, expediting as necessary to meet delivery deadlines and maintain high standards of service.

Handle vendor communications professionally, addressing pricing, terms, and shipment issues promptly.

Support the team by managing backorder notifications and processing returns and credits efficiently.

Uphold our procurement guidelines and contribute insights for improving our processes.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Demonstrated experience in supply chain operations or procurement.

Proficiency in using supply chain software (e.g., GHX) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).

Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain calm under pressure.
