The Master Scheduler is responsible for the planning, preparation, and adjustments of the master production schedules.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs quantitative analysis while transforming customer requirements into the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
  • Incorporates basic MRP tools and methodologies into the process of scheduling customer workorders into the MPS to assure the proper tools are available to support production builds.
  • Manages the MPS by proactively identifying potential constraint areas and adjusts accordingly utilizing Constraint Management techniques.
  • Analyzes product mix scenarios and manipulates the MPS in order to maximize resource utilization while meeting customer delivery requirements
  • Utilizes Line Balancing techniques which in effect supports synchronized production.
  • Manipulates the MPS to be in line with any changes to the production cycle capabilities.
  • Communicates with the other business units on such issues as under utilization of resources, potential delivery issues, and constraint areas which may impact divisional performance.
  • Optimizes the MPS to assure on-time delivery while minimizing potential build up of stock and/or FGI.
  • Incorporates customer liability requirements into planned builds in order to minimize the risk of building product outside of the “Liability Window”

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Business or APICS certification is preferred.
  • Four (4) years experience in Production Control work is preferred.

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that my be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
