Production Shift Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Shift Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing process, ensure the proper functioning of machines, and supervise the production staff. The ideal candidate will foster a healthy and productive work culture during their shift.

PV Hardware (PVH) is a leading provider of innovative solar tracking solutions for the global utility-scale solar market. Our product portfolio includes trackers, fixed structures, and SCADA systems, designed to optimize the performance and reliability of solar energy projects worldwide.

Qualifications:

Education: Associate Degree in a technical field such as Metal Structures, Electromechanics, Manufacturing, Production, or other relevant studies. (Highly Preferred)

Experience: Proven experience in operating machines, overhead cranes, and forklifts, along with prior supervisory experience. (Highly Preferred)

Language: Must be fluent in English, and able to speak Spanish (Conversational).

Responsibilities:

• Supervise Production Process: Manage and oversee the production process during the shift, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
• Machine Operation & Safety: Ensure the correct operation and safety of all machinery before and during the shift.
• Quality Control: Verify that parts are produced correctly according to drawing dimensions and notify quality control of any material defects or deterioration.
• Training & Development: Train and support new operators on their workstation and machine operations.
• Hands-on Support: Actively participate in machine operation and support the team by covering work areas and managing workload as necessary.
• Attendance Monitoring: Count for any associates absences and manage accordingly.
• Accident Reporting: Notify the HSE team in the event of an accident to ensure prompt and appropriate action.
• Other responsibilities may be added in the future as deemed necessary by the role.
