Job Description

Our client, The James A. Casey House, is currently seeking an experienced Project Director to oversee all aspects of resident care, staff, programming, facility and success of the Halfway House.

This is a full-time, permanent position reporting directly to the Executive Director.

Requires flexibility in scheduling to best serve the needs of the house.

Responsibilities - Include But Not Limited To

  • Keep Executive Director informed of relevant topics concerning residents, staff and the facility.
  • Conduct staff meetings to review issues pertaining to resident care.
  • Work directly with outside agencies such as CCBH.
  • Ensure confidentiality according to HIPAA.
  • Oversee resident compliance with responsibilities and program guidelines, including investigating potential violations.
  • Develop program policies and procedures for staff; indicate area of responsibility and training needs.
  • Direct and conduct room and person searches as needed.
  • Directly supervises all staff and ensures team members are accountable to all job duties.
  • Ensure facility is compliant with DDAP regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with licensure unit and accrediting body.
  • Attend all required trainings.

This position offers competitive compensation dependent upon experience, with an annual performance-based bonus.

Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • A Bachelors Degree in Human Services-related field and at least 3 years experience in a human service agency, preferably in a drug and alcohol setting.
  • DDAP (Dept. Drug & Alcohol) and CCBH (Community Care Behavioral Health) required.
  • Prior supervisory experience required.
  • Direct service and program planning experience preferred.
  • A minimum of two consecutive years of sobriety and being free of all chemicals, if previously chemically dependent.
  • Possess knowledge of the dynamics of chemical dependency treatment and a strong understanding and sensitivity to diverse cultures and lifestyles.
  • Have above average communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Possess strong organizational and decision-making skills.
