Project Management Specialist II

We seek a dynamic, energetic Project Management Specialist II based in Northern California. The core function of this position is to manage our current and upcoming projects from beginning to end. This work center is a customer-facing department and works closely with customers and all internal teams. Your team handles all incoming projects from the Project & System Engineers. The team also handles customer start-up and commissioning of finished equipment delivered to our customer's site. This position manages projects, not people.

Some of the responsibilities of our Project Management Specialist II are:

• Manages projects from planning through delivery
• Work closely with customers to define the scope of supply and obtain approvals as needed
• Develop and maintain project budgets for all active projects
• Provides technical support for the engineering process for industrial food production equipment and systems
• Plans and facilitates project meetings to align the project team to methods and goals and to track project tasks
• Monitors task completion status to Identify at-risk project tasks and to develop mitigation plans
• Allocates resources, budgets, and hours to the project and adjusts allocations when necessary
• Support and troubleshoot installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems in process operations environments in the field
• Maintain open items checklists and phase control through project life cycle
• Coordinate communication regarding the scope and obtains approval for technical documents
• May also support pre-project activities such as testing and trials in the Blentech Innovation Center and will from time to time assist process engineering with design calculations
• Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department
• Up to 40% travel domestically and internationally to various food manufacturing facilities
  
  

This position is 100% onsite in Santa Rosa, CA, during training with the possibility of hybrid work after one year.

Salesforce and ERP Experience a plus. PMP Training is preferred. 5-10 years of experience is preferred.

Pay range DOE:Pay Range DOE: $84,100 - $106,200
