Job Description

Hill International is seeking a Project Manager II in Pomona, California

Responsibilities

• Project Manager to coordinate Customer Projects that include transmission facility relocations and to coordinate internal projects due to infrastructure maintenance.
• Project Manager who can ramp up to lead and manage activities for 25 to 30 projects with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods, and outcomes.
• Direct involvement in tasks necessary for successful project execution.
• Identifies problems and solutions.
• Collaborates to establish project objectives, timelines, risk analysis, milestones, deliverables and budgets.
• Resolves issues and ensures task completion by establishing priorities and resolving conflicts with team members, functional managers, and commercial customers.
• Understands Project Management core concepts; can learn processes and portfolio.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in applicable profession, business, or technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Seven or more years of project management experience.
• Project Management Professional certification preferred.
• Utility experience preferred.
• Construction management experience preferred.
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Projects, SAP, and Primavera P6.
• Experience in Grid software such as Grid Technical used to model and optimize power grids preferred.
• Experience with Copperleaf preferred.
• Hybrid work schedule; Willing to travel to job sites withing transmission grids.
  
  

The salary range for this position is $100,000-$120,000. The offered salary will be based on the applicants qualifications, education, experience and work location.
