The Job: Property Manager, Property Management

Looking for an inspiring, team-oriented Property Manager. In this role you will oversee day-to-day operations and manage collaboratively with all property management team members at all levels.

As the Property Manager, your role might include….

  • Maintain efficient daily operations while also meeting financial goals
  • Ensure the property’s buildings and grounds are well-kept.
  • Increase the property’s value while also meeting the needs of the tenants and managing tenant concerns.
  • Partner with the marketing team to attract and retain residents
  • Oversee all aspects of the lease, from negotiating, enforcing lease agreements, terminating and managing evictions
  • Manage rent collection, late payments and operating expense management
  • Keep track of income, expenses, signed leases, complaints, and maintenance and vendors
  • Creating financial performance reports for property/properties

About you…

· Strong communicator who is personable, positive, and comfortable talking to people.

· Strong time management and organizational skills.

· Excellent communication, customer service and negotiation skills

· Highly developed marketing and accounting principles

· College degree preferred but with a proven track record of experience GED/high school diploma required

· Prior experience as a property manager or similar position is a plus.

· Flexible, personally motivated and someone who enjoys being a part of a team that achieves goals together.

· Natural problem solver with great organization skills that is detail oriented and loves to meet deadlines.

· Strong computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Suite and property management software. Experience with Realpage and KNOCK a plus.

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee may need to travel from floor to floor, climb stairs, and may be required to travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions. The employee may also be regularly required to remain in a stationary position (sit or stand) for 85% of the time; regularly use hands to operate office machinery and regularly required to walk, talk, and hear

· Physical effort/lifting, such as sedentary - up to 10 pounds; light - up to 20 pounds; medium - up to 50 pounds; heavy - over 50 pounds
