QC Supervisor

Position Overview:

The QC Supervisor will coordinate daily QC Lab operations. They will execute SAP quality management support functions, administer lab supplies and inventory management, manage non-routine testing, and administer lab infrastructure.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinate daily laboratory operations (40%):

• Administer laboratory work schedule, personnel, and operations.
• Administer QC employee timesheets and submit to HR Payroll.
• Perform responsibilities defined within Quality Administrative Procedures (QAPs).
• Perform date entry (QC Logsheet, SAP).
• Monitor satellite hazardous waste collection, storage and handling (transfer).
• Initiate OOS waiver communication to Supply Chain/Customer Service.
  
  

Execute SAP QM support functions (20%) :

• Monitor/perform SAP Quality Inspection material movements.
• Monitor/close-out SAP Inspection Lots.
• Perform SAP EOM clean-ups (monthly).
• Assess material disposition and authorize material release.
• Execute Certificates of Analysis.
  
  

Administer laboratory supplies ordering and inventory management (20%):

• Monitor and order chemical supplies/consumables.
• Track and report annual purchasing cost savings.
• Monitor/track inventory of primary & secondary standards.
  
  

Manage non-routine sample testing (20%) :

• Requisition sample testing and reporting.
• Outside Toller sample testing and reporting
