Job description:

The Quality Assurance Manager is a key position within the Quality Assurance team working in the Customer Success division at Sofy.

We work collaboratively with various project teams across multiple customer implementations. The successful candidate will show talent with a highly collaborative approach, exhibiting excellent problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities Develop and execute test plans, test cases and test scripts for mobile applications on different platforms and devices.

Collaborate with development teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve software defects. Conduct manual and automated testing to ensure application functionality, performance, and security meets requirements.

Manage day to day QA operations work including that of the offshore team Manage and work on production defect fixes and site regression Mentor, coach, and evaluate direct reports.

Responsible for creating, collecting and documenting and reporting on software QA KPIs.

Ensure mobile app compatibility across different devices and platforms. Monitor and evaluate app performance and recommend performance improvements.

Conduct root cause analysis and resolution of issues found during testing.

Stay current with new testing tools and methodologies and recommend their adoption to improve the team's workflow.

Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.


Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

6+ years of experience in mobile application testing, including both manual and automated testing.

Strong knowledge of mobile app development and testing methodologies, tools, and processes. Experience with cross-platform mobile app testing and mobile app compatibility issues. Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


Preferred skills:

Experience with mobile app performance testing and optimization.

Knowledge of cloud-based mobile app testing tools.

Familiarity with mobile app security testing practices.

Experience with mobile app automation frameworks (e.g., Appium, Espresso).
