Job Description
Design and lead implementation of functional and automated test processes to ensure continuous improvement of Costco’s travel booking software applications. Coordinate delivery of sprint stories following Agile model and methodologies. Conduct automation and test suites review. Design test plans integrated with front end and backend automation . Collaborate with and lead development team to develop, test, and fix code to meet technical requirements and improve functionality and scalability. Leverage technical education and professional experience to onboard, coach and mentor quality assurance professionals to drive development and test efficiencies and technical growth within the team. Drive adoption of standards and best practices for software testing and automation integration. Discover problems, analyze, and mitigate quality risks. Telecommuting permitted up to 75% from any location in the U.S.

Salary Range:$138,050 to $158,050 per year.

Minimum Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in:
- Performing functional, system, regression, and compatibility testing for web and mobile software applications serving Content Management System, e-commerce, and/or Travel domains;
- Analyzing business requirements to prepare test deliverables in conjunction with functional, regression, sanity, system, and user acceptance test cases and test plans;
- Designing and developing automation framework using Selenium WebDriver, Java, TestNG, Maven, Appium, REST API Testing, SQL, HTML, and Jira;
- Integrating Jenkins tool to facilitate Continuous Integration (CI) and build automation;
- Documenting coding workflows and uploading them to GitHub, SVN, and/or Perforce;
- Creating automated test scripts using Object-Oriented Programming, Java, Selenium, and Page Object Modal (POM) Design Pattern;
- Performing Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), SOAP UI, and SOAP Web Service Testing;
- Working experience in monitoring tools such as Splunk ; and
- Programming in Microsoft SQL and/or Transact-SQL.
- Experience: Two years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in:
- Leading testing efforts with development teams in Agile environment;
- Leading testing framework tools projects; and
- Collaborating with offshore and onshore teams.
