Role Expectations
Execute the Company’s goal of supporting our Franchisee network on real estate related items as well as supporting our corporate new build program through working directly with real estate brokers and developers. Role will report directly to the CDO and work closely with our VP of Franchise Development.
Individual will be expected to communicate professionally with all current and potential Franchisees as well as all internal and external business partners on a regular basis and in a timely manner.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide support to all Franchisees with real estate related items, including, but not limited to the following:
Initial site review and feedback
Local real estate broker and developer sourcing
Provide feedback on initial site layout, market demographic information, and competitive landscape
Focus on fostering relationships with Franchisees, brokers, and developers
Prepare internal models, demographic reports, site review presentations, etc.
Individual will be expected to use a variety of tools including, but not limited to:
SiteZeus, Placer.ai, Monday.com, Excel to evaluate potential build to suit opportunities.
This role will also have responsibilities related to asset management. Examples can include:
Protesting annual tax assessments with local municipalities
Ensuring proposed rent is accurate for new sites by reviewing developer rent commencement letters alongside legal language defined in the BTS lease.
Attending weekly New Store Opening meetings and give updates on projects when needed.
Serving as a liaison between internal project management team and landlords
