Real Estate Paralegal/Closer

Our Client, a Capital Provider is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal/Closer in their Iselin, NJ location.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with leadership to document processes, develop checklists, and standardize workflows while Identifying opportunities for process improvement and make recommendations
• Review closing documentation for accuracy and completeness, including loan agreements, security instruments, note, title, and other relevant closing documentation
• Communicate with borrowers, brokers, capital providers, law firms, and others to obtain necessary documentation and signatures
• Track conditions, deadlines, and follow up on outstanding loan conditions
• Interact daily with capital providers to identify closing dates
• Schedule loan closings and provide guidance to borrowers and brokers on the closing process
• Remain flexible and open-minded to optimize workflows and borrower experience

Requirements

• 2-5+ years of experience in mortgage lending, as a paralegal in real estate, or or real estate closing
• Paralegal training or related legal education
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle high volume workload and prioritize effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Tech-savvy with ability to learn new system quickly
• Team player with problem solving attitude
