As the continuing education arm of UC Irvine, DCE is dedicated to providing a transforming learning experience for our students. We maintain over 30,000 enrollments each year and offer hundreds of exciting courses and programs to local, regional, and global constituencies. Our flagship programs are our professional certificates which are offered in a variety of formats—in person, accelerated, hybrid, and online—for the convenience of our students. Most of our students are working adults with college degrees, seeking career advancement or personal enrichment.
Registrar's office is one of the divisions in the DCE's Student Affairs and Student Services unit. The Registrar's office accurately maintains students records and assist students with transcript requests, enrollment verification requests, issuance of all DCE certificates and other requests related to student records. The Registrar's office works collaboratively with staff within DCE and UC Irvine to streamline and improve student and staff experience with student records.
Works under the direction of higher level Registrar Specialist to provide student specific information in a timely manner about enrollment, grades, and other pertinent student record information. Applies professional Registrar student service based concepts to student record functions. Provides information and enforcement of institutional, state, and federal policies, procedures and regulations. Receives direction regarding more complex programs.
