Come grow with CCRES as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)!
A Registered Behavior Technician is a paraprofessional who can work directly with students who have significant behavioral and/or instructional needs including students who require daily implementation of a crisis management plan; require complex verbal behavior programming; and/or extensive data collection, graphing, and analysis.
The RBT is responsible for the direct implementation of behavior-analytic services including instruction and behavioral support.
The RBT practices under the close, ongoing supervision of a BC-ABA and/or BCBA

To be successful in this role - you must meet all of the following expectations:
Complete RBT certification requirements and apply for the exam within 6 weeks (online training, live competency & exam)
Travel at least up to 40 minutes
Work in the school, home & community settings to fulfill program needs. *Non-school hours under H&CS program
Availability for school day, afternoon & evening hours. Some weekends based on client authorization. *Non-school hours under H&CS program
Attend required supervision
Maintain RBT certification as mandated by the BACB
Current certification in both CPR/First Aide and Safety Care Training (De-escalation, and Escorts & Restraints)
Requirements
Credentials and trainings in compliance for current service role (BHT, PCA, Para)
Paperwork and BHT supervision attendance in good standing (supervision required for BHTs)
Work a minimum of 10 hours/week of billable services
Minimum 2 months of service with CCRES. 6+ months employment - preferred
Worked a minimum of 1 year directly with individuals with special needs - preferred
