Job Details
Specializes in reliability engineering, overseeing projects aimed at enhancing plant reliability and optimizing asset utilization through standardization. Responsible for managing the plant's mechanical integrity program to ensure compliance with both Arkema and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develops and upholds activities supporting the Mechanical Integrity standard, encompassing various components like pressure vessels, storage tanks,
piping, and control systems. (25%)
Supervises designated capital projects, including budget management, record-keeping, and initial project evaluation covering layout, cost estimates,
and engineering feasibility. (25%)
Conducts reliability assessments on existing equipment, suggesting necessary enhancements regarding equipment philosophies, strategies, and
predictive maintenance plans. (10%)
Implements preventive and predictive maintenance techniques to identify abnormal operating conditions effectively. (10%)
Provides technical guidance on job plan development, troubleshooting, and diagnosing issues related to critical equipment. (10%)
Updates equipment records, identifies required spare parts, and maintains accurate SAP Bill of Materials. (10%)
Develops and enforces reliability procedures, along with preparing periodic reports on equipment reliability. (10%)
Defines root cause failure analysis (RCFA) trigger points and employs the DMAIC process to implement corrective improvement plans. Additionally,
approves service equipment repairs and conducts Management of Change (MOC) reviews within their area of expertise. (10%)
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably with API certification
5-8 years of manufacturing experience in maintenance/reliability, preferably within the chemical industry
Proficiency in reliability tools such as RCFA, FMEA, Weibull analysis, and statistical analysis
Familiarity with recognized engineering standards like ASME, API, ASTM
Strong organizational and communication skills
