Remote Architect (Aviation Division)

The Encompass Group is working with a phenomenal full-service architecture and design company with a national presence with a strong portfolio. Their project types include commercial, aviation, government, healthcare, and higher education - just to name a few.

Our amazing client is looking for a highly motivated Aviation Architect with excellent design and collaboration skills. The ideal candidate will be someone who can work well with people at all levels of the firm and will take the initiative to research, design and implement within their aviation division.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients, analyze their goals, and conceive and develop solutions to those goals.
• Create and present schematic site designs and plans.
• Plan the project budget, milestones, and schedule and track project performance accordingly
• Coordinate workload for design development and construction document phases to complete documents on schedule.
• Plan, prepare, and check construction documents.
• Supervise less experienced staff in the preparation of construction documents.
• Direct and coordinate with the engineering disciplines and third-party equipment vendors, reviewing construction documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines.
• Prepare project specifications.

Qualifications

• Professional Degree in Architecture / Licensed Architect preferred (or in progress)
• 3-12+ years of experience working on aviation projects in an architectural design firm
• Strong Revit and production skills
