Responsibilities

  • Implement EDI transaction sets with trading partners to improve operational efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with business partners to implement electronic business transactions (EDI)
  • Participate in meetings with trading partners to explain EDI capabilities and requirements
  • Provide education and ongoing support on electronic business transactions for EDI trading partners and internal departments
  • Configure and maintain partner agreements and communications utilizing AS2 & SFTP protocols
  • Work proactively with internal departments to increase utilization of electronic transactions to create efficiencies by automating their workflow
  • Analyze data and create reporting to communicate progress on strategic initiatives and goals to all levels of the company
  • Assist with planning and execution of large-scale EDI software conversion and migration of maps and trading partners
  • Apply lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position

Experience:

  • 5+ years of full-scale EDI experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience with EDI mapping, development, communications, trading partner setup, testing, troubleshooting, and support.
  • Experience with EDI translation software (Seeburger helpful)
  • Knowledge of EDI X12 transactions
  • Experience with EDI communication protocols such as AS2, FTP, and SFTP
  • Plus skills include ERP, iSeries AS/400, SQL
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
