Job Description
The Department of Pharmaceutics, College of Pharmacy (pc.pharmacy.ufl.edu/), University of Florida, invites applications for a non-tenure-track, Research Assistant Professor position. Applicants should have experience in Pharmacokinetics (PK) and/or Pharmacodynamics (PD) and/or Clinical Pharmacology and/or Pharmacometrics and/or Quantitative Systems Pharmacology and be able to teach these topics to graduate students and students enrolled in the online certificate/MS programs.
Areas of specialization within pharmaceutics should complement the interests of the Department of Pharmaceutics and the Center for Pharmacometrics and Systems Pharmacology. We seek those with expertise in the areas of Pharmacometrics and Quantitative Systems Pharmacology with focus on model-informed drug development. This position will be located at the UF Research and Academic Center at Lake Nona in Orlando, FL. Campus information is available at lakenona.ufhealth.org/.

Minimum Requirements
The successful applicant will hold a PharmD or PhD Degree (or equivalent) in pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related field. Training in Quantitative (Pre)Clinical Pharmacology with demonstrated expertise in Pharmacometrics and/or Quantitative System Pharmacology will be considered critical attributes of successful candidates.
Preferred Qualifications
Applicant will have a strong research and publication record in Quantitative Pharmacology. Proficiency in various quantitative modeling techniques or understanding PK and PD of large and small molecules will be beneficial. Excellent teaching, communication, and administrative skills are highly desirable. Prior experience in delivering online education and proof of externally funded research is desirable.
