Kforce has a client that is seeking a Reservoir Engineering Technical Specialist in Houston, TX. Summary: In this role, you will obtain, organize, QA/QC, and input data into various computer software applications (PHDWin, Aries, ComboCurve) to provide technical support and assistance to engineers and geologists with project building, and tracking. Responsibilities:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Reservoir Engineering Technical Specialist in Houston, TX. Summary: In this role, you will obtain, organize, QA/QC, and input data into various computer software applications (PHDWin, Aries, ComboCurve) to provide technical support and assistance to engineers and geologists with project building, and tracking. Responsibilities:
- Maintain and QA/QC production data to be entered into databases
- Provide production forecasting using production decline curves
- Provide support to acquisition/divestiture, and field development by accessing outside information sources
- Assist in preparing scoping economics for capital projects
- Assist engineers by providing technical support required to perform detailed field studies of company assets and acquisition candidates
- Working both independently on projects as well as within a multi-disciplinary, geographically dispersed teams
- Working in teams with other technicians and engineers (with various levels of experience) to manage and build resource databases
- Preparing reports as required from Reserve/Resource databases
- Supporting Engineering workflows to capture data for Reserve/Resource databases
- Maintaining documentation of Engineering Technician processes
- Working with Project Leaders to communicate/track project timelines and work efforts
- Prefer minimum 5 years of Engineering Technician experience in the oil and gas industry
- Experience in the use of Combo Curve, Aries, PHDWin, ARC GIS, Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint, IHS & Enverus databases, and Spotfire/Power BI
- Self-motivated
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be able to communicate across many different disciplines
