This is a daily In-Office role. This is not a remote opportunity. It will be full time, Monday - Friday.
A Router / Dispatcher is responsible for the routing for a designated fleet/region. It is their primary function to effectively, and efficiently, maximize the capabilities of our operational assets and drivers.
Duties & Responsibilities
Daily Responsibility for routing service stops through work order audit, and order volume from customer service / sales.
Management /updating service routes for the service drivers on a daily basis.
Create and maintain synergies with operations to maintain route density and operational efficiencies.
Partner with Operations to assist in driver training of onboard apps used with daily routes.
Manually creating routing efficiencies to adhere to customer needs, management of “one off” occurrences writhing route development
Responsible for management of daily reporting from the locations, maintaining of asset reports, and data point deemed important.
Accounting knowledge.
Qualifications
Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
Must be professional, self-motivated and possess strong computer skills.
Ability to learn a new system quickly.
Mapping and service routing software experience a plus
Experience within load planning and/or route based transportation a plus.
