Position Summary


The Sales Account Executive is responsible for growing our Ever.Ag ecosystem and customer base by listening, understanding, and then solving shipper’s, carrier’s, origin’s, and/or destination’s areas of inefficiency. Key focuses will be on finding and signing up new customers for one or more of Ever.Ag’s Digital Freight Ecosystem solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaboratory engage with all internal and external customers.
  • Build and execute a strategic sale’s plan that identifies, pursues and signs-on new shippers and carriers to the Ever.Ag ecosystem that meet Ever.Ag’s sales goals.
  • Understand the customer’s inefficiencies and deliver the solutions that remove those inefficiencies and create value for the customer.
  • Coordinate sales presentations and include the Ever.Ag team as needed to deliver a world class sales experience for the customer.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with counterparties
  • Coordinate with customer success to schedule and deliver on-boarding, training, and so on.
  • Nurture relationships with existing customers to drive pervasive usage of Ever.Ag in their system, as well as get feedback on new functions or features.
  • Maintain meeting notes and contact information in Hubspot
  • Utilize good economic decision making on travel expenses
  • Provide learnings on current or potential future products to the rest of the Ever.Ag team.
  • Attend conferences and/or tradeshows to promote Ever.Ag and find new customers
  • Attend and participate in sales and/or Ever.Ag meetings
  • Keep up to speed and share with the Ever.Ag team, the market trends, customer needs, and competing products
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • A college degree or trade experience in an ag related field
  • 5-10+ years selling products or services to grain elevators, ethanol plants, feedlots, and/or bulk feed and grain businesses.
  • Willing to travel and estimated at least 50+% of the time. Position would be remote but requests candidates home base be located in the Midwest.

  • Manages highly complex projects and issues. Often responsible for finding innovative solutions and leading larger teams.
  • Collaborates at a high level with internal and external stakeholders. May provide leadership and guidance to junior and mid-level staff.
