Job Description

The Sales Marketing Social Specialist is part of a team of enthusiastic media professionals who create new and innovative sales marketing opportunities at NBC New York. This role will partner with the NBCU Local Ad Sales team and sales production team to create compelling content and sponsorships for a variety of clients and partnerships across varying social platforms.

As a Sales Marketing Social Specialist, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Work with NY sales marketing team to leverage all products and platforms by ideating and creating compelling social-first content to enhance linear and digital campaigns that aligns NBC Local & advertiser brands
  • Create and design social content for local lifestyle integrations, includes but not limited to Meta, TikTok, X and YouTube
  • Work with digital and social leads to execute digital and social plans associated with local sponsorships and integrated lifestyle content
  • Collaborate with NY Market AEs and production teams on all shoots and projects, including executing, reporting and analyzing social elements and metrics.
  • Assist on NY Market proposals and recaps
  • Salary Range - 60k-70k

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-3 years experience in social content production, marketing, or sales with knowledge of broadcast, digital, social and out of home a plus.
  • Must be knowledgeable in current social tactics & trends. With experience in Canva, Cap Cut, Adobe Suite, Final Cut, Meta Suite, etc.
  • Self-starter that’s not afraid to take risks and build pioneering content
  • Social creator with keen creative eye and attention to detail
  • Experience in influencer marketing and outreach
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Exceptional communication, project management and presentation skills
  • Clear, concise, objective and professional written and verbal communicator
  • Superior organizational skills - must possess the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task and handle projects independently as well as part of a team

  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Creative and strategic thinker, with clear ideation and execution abilities
  • Resourceful, focused on project objectives/goals and can prioritize when managing multiple tasks/projects
  • Knowledge of changing social & digital landscape
  • Bilingual – English & Spanish
