About the Job


The Sales Operations Manager will report to the Head of Sales Operations. The candidate will be responsible for daily operational work of our Trina Solar Manufacturing Facility in Texas. This position will support any purchase orders received and help with the successful execution of them. The Sales Operations Manager will collaborate with sales, finance, legal, supply chain and logistics. The ideal candidate will have high level experience processing PO’s and overseeing contracts.


Candidates must be located in the Texas region.


What you’ll be doing


Order Process

  • Manage and review purchase orders and contracts. Working with legal, finance and different departments to ensure accuracy before order processing.
  • Submit projects in our CRM system for approvals.
  • Ensure orders are entered in ERP system once approved.
  • Update all orders in ERP and spreadsheets based on quarterly business goals, tracking current booked orders.
  • Monitor and check with logistics and finance teams to confirm payment and shipping terms to ensure order accuracy.
  • Manage to ensure orders follow correct pricing before submitting for approvals.
  • Use DocuSign to obtain signatures from management to confirm customer sales order with fully executed contract.
  • Manage and archive related documents in company server.
  • Update order status to internal teams to ensure timely delivery to customer.
  • Work under pressure to meet quarterly deadlines.
  • Work closely with Production Operation team to adapt to any changes from the sales side.
  • Process traction orders between different entities under Trina Solar, US.


Order Execution

  • Ensure order is released to logistics on-time by sending payment reminders, and working with customer finance team on payment or credit status.
  • Prepare and collect necessary documents for order execution such as Flash Test Data and others.
  • Report order status internally for successful execution.


Inventory Management

  • Reserve factory module capacity for sales team and track all reservations.
  • Quarter-end inventory clearing - assist sales managers to clear inventory by providing detailed product availability.
  • Create weekly inventory reports.


Your Qualifications


  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain or relatable field.
  • 3 years or more of previous experience managing purchase orders and inventory within a factory setting.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with supply chain, sales, operations, finance, and logistics internally.
  • Solar industry or sales operations work experience is preferred.
  • Must be based nearby Dallas, TX
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a highly collaborative environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Competency in Microsoft Office application
  • Enthusiasm for the Renewable Energy industry

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, education, skills, and experience. Additional discretionary incentive may be available. Full-time employees are eligible for PTO, medical, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) plan and flexible spending accounts, subject to plan terms.
