Printpack is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Sales Representative or Account Manager. This position is located in Plano, TX. This position is responsible for effectively managing sales and market share growth, by leading the company’s relationships and growth initiatives for that account. The successful candidate will drive growth-oriented conversations throughout customer organizations while coordinating activities within Printpack’s internal functional groups, owning ultimate responsibility for driving top and bottom-line sales results and customer satisfaction for assigned accounts. Minimum Qualifications: A four-year degree in business or a technical field of study Five years of proven success delivering year-over-year growth in previous sales role(s). Proven leadership ability, strong interpersonal and communication skills, outstanding business acumen, and ability to influence & motivate while developing sound relationships. Experience with large account management and complex sales, ideally within flexible packaging or other specialty manufacturing markets. The ideal candidate will exhibit the ability to: Effectively manage all internal and external customer communication related to existing business and the pursuit and onboarding of new business for assigned accounts. Develop and execute business strategy/account plan to obtain commitments to retain existing business and achieve sales growth through increased market share or new project penetration with assigned customers. Identify new business opportunities and populate the sales funnel with an emphasis on accelerating opportunities through the sales process to commercialization. Possess a detailed understanding of the industry, competition, our capabilities and the products and solutions we offer. Take initiative and effectively lead and motivate customer-focused teams of cross-functional associates to achieve both Printpack’s and the customer’s business objectives. Manage and oversee pricing and guide internal efforts to improve profitability on new and existing business. Be accountable for customer sales and profit results and provide monthly analysis of performance vs targets. Effectively network at all levels within the customer’s organization to solve problems, offer innovative solutions, and influence new packaging ideas. Prepare and maintain an accurate 18 Month Rolling Forecast and Annual Plan Negotiate and resolve customer issues related to service, quality, pricing, etc. Continuously improve service levels and engagement for assigned customers. Ensure timely recovery of costs including trials, graphics, storage, expediting, and shipping. Manage working capital aspects of the business including inventory and receivables.
