Job Title: SAP ERP Consultant

Location: Springfield, IL (LOCALS ONLY)

Duration: 3 Years Contract

Experience

  • Resources must possess at least two (2) years of combined experience in training, development, and working in production environments of SAP’s Enterprise Resource Planning and Financial Management module.
  • Resources must possess at least two (2) years of experience in State government budgetary process.
  • Resources must possess at least two (2) years of experience consulting with a development team to document any software bugs and assist with resolution.
  • Resources must possess at least two (2) years of combined experience troubleshooting and upgrading SAP software.
  • Resources must possess at least one (1) year of experience using procurement software system that is integrated with an enterprise financial system.
  • Resources must possess at least one (1) year of combined experience training, developing, and working in production environments of SAP’s Human Capital Management module.
  • Resources must possess at least one (1) year of experience using SAP’s Enterprise Resource Planning and Financial Management module to track various State government funds and develop reports on the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Project/Cost Accounting, payment, and receipts processing.
  • Resources must possess at least one (1) year of experience assisting agency management with ensuring the segregation of duties within SAP’s Enterprise Resource Planning and Financial Management module.
  • Resources must possess at least one (1) year of experience performing planning, analysis, designing, requirement definition, functional design, development, testing and implementation of IT solutions.
  • Resources must have industry experience in financial/ accounting/ inventory-asset management in SAP.

Tasks

  • Resources will support the implemented project enterprise management system in the form of processes and procedures for tracking task lists to identify and resolve problems and issues in a timely manner, work with stakeholders and CMS’ team to develop milestone schedules and go/no go criteria.
  • Resources will analyze design documentation from CMS ACTS/SAP/HCM to determine accuracy of the intended solution. Where appropriate, the resources will propose alternative solution(s) for CMS’ consideration.
  • Resources will monitor the functional gaps identified during the design sessions and track defects identified during the user acceptance testing. Resources will propose alternatives to CMS to address the identified defects and clear them.
  • Resources will review and validate business requirements with the CMS team, review business process mapping, and propose options to improve alignment of CMS ACTS/SAP/HCM requirements to agency needs and business practices.
  • Resources will coordinate with the CMS team, identify resource requirements, and provide project status reports as requested to designated leadership and committees, as deemed necessary.
  • Resources will facilitate meetings, conduct, and lead presentations and/or training sessions with end-users, key managers, and administrators.
  • Resources will ensure adequate change management is performed to transition individuals, teams, and impacted stakeholders to the desired state in CMS ACTS/SAP/HCM, as deemed necessary.
