Your Impact:

As a Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis Engineer, your role extends beyond coordination and oversight; it involves hands-on execution and the development of impactful visualizations to facilitate critical decision-making by leadership. Your responsibilities encompass the use of modeling tools such as STK (Systems Tool Kit) and others, as well as the creation of data visualizations that convey complex information to key decision-makers.


Your hands-on involvement will inform satellite architecture design, architecture trade studies, and performance evaluations. Get involved with briefing decision makers within Enterprise to include the Chief Architect, Chief Engineer, and Acquisition Program Offices. Receive mentorship and guidance from Global Max SMEs and industry partners.


This role is vital in shaping the future of satellite architectures and ensuring the delivery of systems that support critical mission needs.


Your Key Tasks:

o Coordinate, integrate, and conduct satellite modeling, simulation, and analysis in support of study efforts, ensuring validation of methodologies and data integration.

o Deliver expert mission analysis and technical support to define spacecraft and ground requirements

o Conduct detailed performance evaluations and briefings focusing on performance variations between baseline, enhanced baseline, and alternative architectures

o Offer innovative capability concepts, create models for mission data analysis, understand system performance, and collaborate with mission users, stakeholders, and space industry

o Provide individual insights and recommend follow-on studies or analysis based on findings.

o Develop and brief executive-level visualizations to convey complex technical topics to leadership

o Create, deliver, and maintain modeling, simulation, and analysis study documentation within the customer's knowledge base.

o Produce analysis roadmaps or forecasts projecting future mission analysis tasks.

o Advise and create approaches for managing, governing, and sharing modeling, simulation, and analysis models and data.

o Create and maintain automated and manual workflows to support modeling, simulation, and analysis, to include with MBSE environments

o Identify and advise the customer on tools-related needs and gaps.


Your Expertise:

o Engineering or related STEM degree (BS, MS, or PhD levels)

o Minimum 2 years of experience, 4-10 years preferrable

o Familiarity with any or all of the GEOINT / SIGINT/ Transport domain areas

o Proven experience in satellite modeling, simulation, and analysis.

o Proven experience in modeling, simulation, and analysis with expertise in satellite modeling tools such as STK (Systems Tool Kit).

o Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or other big data capabilities, with a demonstrated ability to create meaningful and insightful visual representations of complex data.

o Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide valuable insights.

o Proficiency in data processing and documentation.

o Knowledge of modeling, simulation, and analysis best practices.

o Ability to forecast future projects and advise on process improvements.

o Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and problem solving skills
