Registered Nurse’s Responsibilities
Assist with screenings such as recording vital signs, heights, and weights, and conducting vision and hearing assessments.
Distribute age-appropriate immunizations.
Administer prescribed medications to students.
Develop and monitor health plans for students.
Provide care to students experiencing injuries or illnesses.
Registered Nurse’s Qualifications
An associate degree is required; a bachelor’s degree of science in nursing (BSN) is preferred.
Must have an active RN licensure through the Texas Board of Nursing.
1-2 years of experience working in a Pediatric or School Experience is preferred.
Strong interpersonal, verbal communication, and multi-tasking skills
