Reporting to the Sr. Studio Director/ Operations Manager, this position will handle robotic camera operation and camera video shading for our studio programming, helping to create and ensure video standards are brought to each NESN studio produced program.
Please note: This is a part time position working an average of 20-24 hours per week.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Demonstrate high proficiency in related technologies for the following: Camera control/ video shading/ color correction, robotic camera operation, and studio support.
Consistently improve technical skills and work towards becoming one of NESN’s camera and video experts
Work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed
Other duties and projects as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
Two years television experience or one year of experience with robotic cameras and video shading a plus but willing to train the right candidate.
Ability to excel in a highly technical environment and learn new technologies quickly
Excellent organizational skills and must be extremely detail-oriented
Ability to successfully work in a fast paced, loosely structured environment
Must have strong communication skills and interpersonal skills, and possess a positive “can-do” attitude
Must be a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision but also able to work effectively within a team environment
Must be able to work weekends, nights (including overnight shifts) and holidays as needed
