Responsibilities:
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in our financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:
monthly detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts
and managing project accounting summaries (percentage of completion)
budget and actual performance to budget for both projects/jobs and SG&A spend
expenses and capital expenditures for accuracy and ensuring policy guidelines are followed.
in the preparation of documentation for external auditors
in the preparation of annual financial statements and supporting checklists
with the consolidation of multiple legal entities for financial reporting purposes
with process improvements to seek opportunities to streamline accounting operations and enhance system efficiencies.
with internal departments and outside affiliates to develop/implement accounting system functions to meet reporting demands.
Our ideal Senior Accountant possesses:
degree in accounting or a related field; MBA and/or CPA designation is a plus.
years’ experience in public accounting or 4-6 years of experience in private company accounting
strong command of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), specifically, demonstrating a deep understanding of ASC842, ASC606, and ASC450 standards.
unwavering eagerness to learn and a passion for continuous improvement.
with NetSuite is an advantage, but not a requirement.
