Responsibilities:

  • Below please find a list of tasks for the Sr. accounting position.
  • Set up wires and ACH in Online banking
  • Review daily bank balances and prepare fund transfers as needed
  • Monitor intercompany funding
  • Reconcile the bank accounts in the accounting software
  • Estimate the weekly and monthly cash outlay by vendor (13 weeks rolling)
  • Assisting with audit preparations
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts
  • Investigate account discrepancies
  • Oversee all accounting activities of the junior accountant inclusive of review of the journal entries
  • Assist with monthly accounting closing, including but not limited to recording accruals and amortizing prepaid expenses
  • Conduct independent accounting research to improve the existing accounting practices
  • Review revenue recognition and accounting processes to ensure compliance with GAAP
  • Review GL account coding from expense report to ensure proper expense reporting
  • Prepare weekly statistical payroll journal entry from ADP and Exquisite
  • Prepare weekly statistical payroll journal entry from ADP and outside labor contractor reports
  • Assist on preparing monthly inventories journal entries
  • Assist on reviewing P&L expenses
  • Other Miscellaneous and ad hoc task as required
  • Assist with filing Sales and Use Tax ad CRT.

Salary: $85,000 - $90,000
