Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Analyst, Accounting & Financial Reporting to join our team. As a key participant in our accounting close and reporting cycle, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial information used for internal decision making and external reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct day-to-day accounting activities and facilitate month-end close processes, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare financial statements and other internal and external financial reports.
  • Perform flux analysis on the income statement and balance sheet, providing insights into month-to-month and year-over-year changes.
  • Address queries from finance and company-wide managers regarding financial results and related topics.
  • Support the annual external audit by preparing audit workpapers, financial disclosures, and engaging with auditors.
  • Contribute to the development of our accounting system and continuously improve processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting activities, and monthly sales tax returns.
  • Participate in special projects and handle ad hoc requests as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting required; CPA certification is a must.
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience, including public accounting; Big 4 experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial accounting systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Additional Information

We believe in fair and equitable pay. The base salary range for this role is estimated to be $90,000 to $110,000 USD. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as education, experience, and location.
