Overview

The role involves substantial collaboration with various departments including Risk Management, IT, Accounting, and Portfolio Management. Additionally, the position requires close coordination with European partners. The primary focus is on the global implementation of Orchestrade across international offices.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the migration of systems to Orchestrade.
  • Quickly develop a deep understanding of the business, as well as legacy and future ETRM systems.
  • Communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
  • Collect and analyze requirements from all stakeholders, including business users, IT staff, and external partners.
  • Collaborate with vendors to conceptualize and test the best ways to model products in Orchestrade and to test their associated solutions.
  • Participate in the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase, which includes writing test procedures, archiving results, onboarding new users, and supervising the final migration stages.
  • Provide second-level support for any production issues after migration to Orchestrade.
  • Work closely with the Business Opportunity team for the development and testing of new products in Orchestrade, ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.


Skills

  • Proficiency in Orchestrade, with demonstrated experience in system migration and implementation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and technical environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with a wide range of stakeholders including technical teams, business users, and external partners.
  • Experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, and translating them into functional specifications.
  • Knowledge of Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) systems, with a focus on their integration and optimization.
  • Ability to lead and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, execution, and documentation.
  • Strong project management skills, with an emphasis on meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A commitment to maintaining high safety standards and adhering to company policies and procedures.
