Position Title: Senior Cisco ISE Engineer

Location Information: Remote (with travel multiple times a quarter to specified hospital locations: Albuquerque, NM; Cushing, OK; Henryetta, OK; Oklahoma City, OK; Tioga, ND; Tulsa, OK; Amarillo, TX; Flower Mound, TX; Nashville, TN; Owasso, OK; Topeka, KS; Tyler, TX)

Position Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage the day-to-day operations of the Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) to ensure optimal performance and security
• Evaluate, prioritize, and implement ISE-related requests to ensure smooth and efficient network operations
• Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the ISE environment within the first 30 days of employment
• Identify and resolve issues and areas for improvement to enhance system performance and security
• Perform cleanup activities and optimize configurations and processes within 30 days following the initial assessment
• Participate in Medical Internet of Things (MIoT) security council meetings and help establish cycles and timelines for implementing ISE-managed controls
• Provide after-hours support and ensure timely resolution of critical issues outside regular working hours
  
  

Essential Skills & Expertise

• Extensive experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
• Proficient in Cisco Wireless technologies
• Strong expertise in Cisco Switch configurations and management
• Experienced with Cisco Digital Network Architecture Center (DNAC)
• Solid understanding of network security principles and practices
• Proven experience in assessing and optimizing network environments
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
