What's the opportunity? 🤔
Intercom is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Compensation Partner to join the global compensation team. Reporting to the Compensation & Benefits Director, you will have the opportunity to contribute at all levels, building and executing on our Compensation Philosophy.
What will I be doing? 🚀
- Develop and implement comprehensive compensations strategies and policies that support organizational goals
- Build deep subject matter expertise on market trends and factors impacting talent attraction and retention
- Lead annual salary review processes, including budget planning, salary band adjustments and merit increase recommendations
- Lead on preparation for Compensation Committee materials
- Partner with HR Business Partners to provide guidance on compensation related matter
- Collaborate with Finance to forecast and budget for compensation expenses
- Conduct ad hoc analyses and prepare reports to support decision making and provide insights to senior leadership
- Provide coaching and guidance to junior team members on compensation related matters
- Participate in special compensation projects as needed
- 7+ years experience in the Compensation field. Experience working for a fast-growing, global tech company is strongly preferred
- Deep understanding of compensation principles, practices and methodologies
- Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting data to inform compensation decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization
- Experience working with sales teams and sales incentive plans
- Job architecture design preferred
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive compensation information
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with compensation management software preferred (Workday, Pave)
