Candidate must have direct experience in Pipeline Design using AutoCAD. This is a Fort Worth, TX based full time role in the field of onshore pipelines. Candidate must be knowledgeable across multiple design/CAD applications.
Ability to travel to prepare as-built drawings a major plus.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
Possesses minimum 5 years’ experience.
Receive survey data to develop pipeline alignment sheets and plats.
Work both independently and alongside engineering team to develop both high level and detailed design.
Demonstrate expertise in various design technologies; AutoCAD (2D), CADworxs, MS Visio. Ability to create DWG and PDF files from work product.
Report job activity and maintain detailed logs about work activities.
Demonstrate ability to maintain project directories and version control.
Ability to meet deadlines working on multiple projects and clients with minimum supervision and taking some responsibility for planning and prioritizing tasks.
Maintain a high standard of work performance and ensuring that all is done in accordance with the drafting standards of the company and client.
Ability to create and manipulate MS Excel files.
Solid communications skills and ability to interreact direct with clients and upper management.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associates or Bachelor’s Degree/Technical Degree preferred, namely in Engineering design. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
5+ years’ experience in pipeline design and drafting.
Ability to read and understand: P&IDs, PFDs, and Alignment Sheets.
Expectations:
Must pass background check and be able to pass both a pre-employment & random drug test(s)
