About Our Client
Well known, mid-sized, family-owned, CPG business dedicated to providing high-quality products and exceptional service is looking for a Senior Director of HR to join their growing team! The Senior Director of Human Resources will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR function, both strategic and operational. This position is located in Melville, NY 3 days a week in office. $175k-$200k + discretionary bonus.
Job Description
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
Partner with the COO and other senior leaders to provide strategic HR insights and solutions.
Lead organizational development initiatives to enhance employee engagement and performance.
Oversee recruitment and selection processes to attract and retain top talent.
Manage onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a positive employee experience.
Develop and implement training and development programs to support employee growth.
Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs.
Conduct market analysis to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices.
Manage performance appraisal and salary review processes.
Supervise day-to-day HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, and record-keeping.
Implement and maintain HR policies and procedures.
Ensure accurate and compliant HR reporting and analytics.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 2 HR professionals.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience in a mid-sized company, preferably within the CPG industry.
Experience in a family owned business, preferred
Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in HR software and systems.
