SAC is seeking a Senior Director, Information Technology, responsible for leading the organization’s Information Technology function and building and managing the infrastructure, manufacturing technologies, data, and systems delivery that will help the Company achieve its business goals.
Participate in strategic, commercial, and operational decisions as a senior management team.
Act as a business partner by educating and providing technological insight and advice to improve business profitability, market share and productivity.
Lead the software development team responsible for our internally developed platform
Collect, prioritize and manage the backlog of software development requirements to ensure we can meet all business objectives
Be a thought leader focused on how to improve customer and colleague experience with the platform
Establish and document effective and updated IT policies & procedures to ensure compliance with SOX regulations.
Ensure cost-effective delivery of IT services to meet those needs and respond with agility to changing business priorities.
Integrate the IT and business strategy to achieve company goals by fostering innovation, properly organizing teams, and directing the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future technology solutions across the organization.
Determine the appropriate internal and external IT team/vendors to support business objectives by implementing an effective IT organizational structure, goals & operating process.
Identify opportunities for the appropriate and cost-effective financial investment in IT solutions, including staffing, sourcing, purchasing, and development.
Assess and communicate risks associated with IT investments and develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives.
Implement enterprise-wide security, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
Develop and attract talented business and technology professionals and delegate significant responsibilities to team members and hold them accountable.
Forge strong service oriented teams and engage the team through enthusiasm and excitement about the business.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or related discipline
Minimum 10+ years of experience leading high-performing IT teams with substantial hands-on experience in IT systems, infrastructure, and cybersecurity
Experience in a field related to serving the auto sales and financing industries preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Excellent interpersonal skills and keen attention to detail
Strong knowledge of vb.NET, Visual Studio, SQL, Jenkins, and Microsoft Azure
Experience managing SOX compliance and audit procedures
Strong negotiating skills and drives issues to closure
Ability to present complex ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
In-depth knowledge of DR, BCP, critical infrastructure management, incident response, vulnerability management, and data protection
Comfortable with rapidly changing technologies and environments; continually seeking improvement and innovative solutions.
Strong project management skills
Strong analytical and knowledge of problem-solving tools to make data-driven decisions
Effective communicator
Ability to clearly articulate business needs, progress, and challenges at all levels of the organization
Preferably experience running and taking ownership of computer program development
