Our client, a global engineering leader in building groundbreaking infrastructure, seeks a Senior Equipment Stress Engineer to join their Hanford Vit Plant project team.
As a Senior Equipment Stress Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing and analyzing complex mechanical equipment for this first-of-its-kind waste treatment facility. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient operation of the plant, protecting the environment for generations to come.
Job Title: Senior Equipment Stress Engineer
Location: Richland, WA
Pay Range: $ 45-75hr (based on experience)
What’s the Job?
Perform structural and thermal analyses using CFD and FEA software.
Review equipment designs and calculations by vendors.
Collaborate with other engineers to resolve technical challenges.
Support the creation of equipment drawings and specifications.
Prepare reports and studies for complex technical issues.
What’s Needed?
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (or equivalent) with 13+ years of experience.
Experience with ASME codes and standards for pressure vessels and piping.
Proficiency in CFD software (STAR-CCM+ or ANSYS Fluent).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
US Citizenship required.
