Position Summary
A Senior Field Operations Specialist should be comfortable communicating with people throughout the organization, able to solve problems and improvise as needed, and adept at estimating and managing time for a variety of tasks. The ideal candidate is a natural coordinator who has a strong sense of big-picture objectives and a sharp eye for detail.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Develop and implement department-wide quality control measures.
Recommend new procedures for increasing the efficiency of day-to-day operations.
Maintain communication with Assistant Director of Field Operations, Business Unit Leaders, Payroll, Accounting, other Support Divisions, and Vendors to ensure adherence to protocols across key touch points.
Assist the Assistant Director of Field Operations in developing, planning, and coordinating operational activities.
Oversee management practices and improve them when necessary.
Ensure that operations are in legal compliance with local and national regulations.
Monitor day-to-day operations, report on performance, and recommend actionable improvements when necessary.
Create procedures and protocols (such as checklists) and distribute to staff.
Communicate and coordinate with employees (including executive operations team) and vendors.
Train new employees to ensure that they adhere to standard operating procedures.
Identify attrition trends, improvement areas, and efficiency of processes regarding transfers.
Collaborate with all Business Units to effectively support their Field Operation’s needs.
Manage external vendor relationships, such as third-party staffing.
Oversee jobsite productivity and performance of individual employees.
Other Duties And Responsibilities
Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient and effective processes, completion of projects and smooth operation of department.
Education And Experience
Education-High School diploma required: college degree preferred with 4-6 years of operations, staffing, and compliance experience.
Technologies-Understanding and proficiency with Microsoft Office Products, with heavy emphasis on Excel
Previous experience and understanding of commercial construction industry.
Strong mentorship and leadership skills
