Position Summary

A Senior Field Operations Specialist should be comfortable communicating with people throughout the organization, able to solve problems and improvise as needed, and adept at estimating and managing time for a variety of tasks. The ideal candidate is a natural coordinator who has a strong sense of big-picture objectives and a sharp eye for detail.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement department-wide quality control measures.
  • Recommend new procedures for increasing the efficiency of day-to-day operations.
  • Maintain communication with Assistant Director of Field Operations, Business Unit Leaders, Payroll, Accounting, other Support Divisions, and Vendors to ensure adherence to protocols across key touch points.
  • Assist the Assistant Director of Field Operations in developing, planning, and coordinating operational activities.
  • Oversee management practices and improve them when necessary.
  • Ensure that operations are in legal compliance with local and national regulations.
  • Monitor day-to-day operations, report on performance, and recommend actionable improvements when necessary.
  • Create procedures and protocols (such as checklists) and distribute to staff.
  • Communicate and coordinate with employees (including executive operations team) and vendors.
  • Train new employees to ensure that they adhere to standard operating procedures.
  • Identify attrition trends, improvement areas, and efficiency of processes regarding transfers.
  • Collaborate with all Business Units to effectively support their Field Operation’s needs.
  • Manage external vendor relationships, such as third-party staffing.
  • Oversee jobsite productivity and performance of individual employees.

Other Duties And Responsibilities

  • Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient and effective processes, completion of projects and smooth operation of department.

Education And Experience

  • Education-High School diploma required: college degree preferred with 4-6 years of operations, staffing, and compliance experience.
  • Technologies-Understanding and proficiency with Microsoft Office Products, with heavy emphasis on Excel
  • Previous experience and understanding of commercial construction industry.
  • Strong mentorship and leadership skills

  • Self-sufficiency and an ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Has knowledge of field needs and requirements and works with internal teams to customize solutions to meet those needs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail

This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

  • The employee may be required to climb stairs.
  • Must be able to work 8 hours a day, 40 hours per week, and overtime as required and night or weekend shifts, as needed.
