Job Requirements
The Business Operations Support Team is the liaison team between the Operations Team and the Client's Customer Support Specialist (CSS) Team and Quality (QA) Team. Under the supervision of the Associate Vice President, the Senior Manager will be primarily responsible for developing and designing strategies for the Business Operations Support Team and Quality Team. The Senior Manager will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations, including but not limited to, providing support, direction, and management of escalation activities reported by the Client's CSS and QA Teams.
Essential Functions
Manage and lead a team of 7-10 FTEs within the Business Ops Support Team and Quality Team
Manage the end-to-end intake ticket (JIRA) process to ensure work is assigned daily to the team and SLAs are met timely.
Manage the end-to-end intake QA process to ensure is conducting daily QAs, feedback given, and SLAs are met timely.
Prepare and publish reports summarizing trends with issues, including research performed, root cause analysis, and resolution performed or needed.
Lead the daily meeting with Client CSS team to discuss prioritization and issue findings.
Assists the QA Manager with the weekly/monthly meetings to discuss issues, trends, and root causes and share findings with appropriate departments for process improvement.
Assist the team and Client to proactively evaluate risks and develop risk-mitigation actions.
Communicate effectively with various internal departments to enhance cross-functional awareness, promote process improvement, and identify root cause resolution of issues.
Build strong cross-functional working relationships with operational departments, and Client partners, and other areas in which collaboration is essential for resolving issues and driving improvements.
Creates and delivers Dashboards on weekly/monthly basis with analytics and insights.
Education And Experience
Perform any other job duties as requested.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in healthcare or government TPA experience is required, with at least 2 years of leadership experience.
Experience in leading transformational programs/project management, with special focus on escalation management and process improvement.
Competencies, Knowledge And Skills
Knowledge of Medicare/PACE plans and familiarity of healthcare industry
Overall understanding of one or more key healthcare domains Accounting, Claims, and Enrollment.
A track record of building, achieving, and exceeding targeted business results/KPIs.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills are required with emphasis on achieving results and successful outcomes.
Strong stakeholder management experience, with the ability to build and strengthen relationships within the business at all levels.
Evidence of building talented high performing teams
Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite specifically Word and Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
