Position Summary: Acts as a strategic HRBP and trusted advisor to business leaders, providing strategic human capital consulting and coordinating HR services delivery. Leads and provides direction to HR team members either as direct reports or peer level, in support of business strategies and initiatives aligned to the business. Engages with leaders and relevant stakeholders to drive and enable sustainable business performance, serving as the interface between the business and HR. HR Business Partnership: Supports the business leaders, understands, and aligns the human capital strategy and/or services to achieve business goals, organizational effectiveness, and/or leadership capabilities Develops strong relationships across the business and can steer towards solutions, influence appropriate outcomes, and suggest alternative paths Responsible for delivery or to broker services that address people issues, organizational effectiveness, and organizational capabilities to develop strategic and practical solutions to business challenges Collaborates and uses problem solving skills with stakeholders to ensure all HR areas are integrated to deliver exceptional service to the business that drive consistent strategies, processes, and messages Acts as trusted advisor and coach to leaders on full range of people and performance matters Translates and uses knowledge of data, metrics, and internal/external trends to provide leaders with commercially focused insights to inform business decisions Collaborates with COE’s to deliver the employee life cycle – Compensation, Talent, Performance Management, etc. Responsible for high performance, quality partnership and consistent delivery of HR support and advice, through effective working relationships with HR colleagues ensuring it is aligned to the overarching business strategy, governance processes and risk appetite Partners with Employee Relations to resolve complex employee issues, understand trends, and recommend strategic actions Uses expertise to provide insight, input and context into HR policy, product and process design and development Understands the pulse on the ground and proactively identify and manage people related issues Team Leadership Develops, coaches, engages and retaining high quality team members Supports a high-performance culture with specific focus on capability, effectiveness, and delivery Professional Experience/Qualifications: Experience leading people and demonstrated ability to lead and develop employees 5+ years’ experience as a HRBP with a proven track record providing pragmatic commercial advice Strong business acumen, ability to translate business challenges into human capital solutions, and to coordinate the overall HR service delivery Excellent knowledge and understanding of HR generalist functions - experience with workforce planning, staffing, employee relations, performance management and coaching, organizational learning and development, teambuilding, change management, succession planning, benefits, compensation, HRIS, payroll, and compliance preferred Knowledge of change management and driving organizational effectiveness Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with employees of all levels Travel up to 25 percent Professional Experience/Qualifications: A master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology or related major and a minimum of 8 years’ experience in a generalist capacity; a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years’ experience; or a minimum of 15 years of generalist experience is required for this position. Experience should include workforce planning, staffing, employee relations, performance management and coaching, organizational learning and development, teambuilding, change management, succession planning, benefits, compensation, HRIS, payroll and compliance. Incentive compensation, Sales compensation, Equity compensation or Executive compensation experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing priorities timely, adapt to ever changing demands, and an intellectual curiosity and ability to understand the business. Strong business acumen, analytical, problem solving, consulting, and project management skills. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the demonstrated ability to write business correspondence and reporting and the ability to effectively communicate, interact with and influence all levels of management, and executives. Possess strong team work as well as the ability to take initiative, work independently with minimal supervision, accept responsibility, collaborate with virtual teams and also face to face, and provide excellent internal customer service. Must be able to deliver results and possess managerial courage. Ability to collaborate and partner well with other HR and business functions. Consulting skills, collaborative, influential, and adaptable. Experience in process improvements. Experience in the use of proactive sourcing strategies and talent pools. Skilled communicator with a strong ability to build relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders to drive organizational change. Customer focus, with exceptional follow-through and integrity. Experience working with cross functional teams in a matrixed environment. Demonstrated experience deploying effective employment engagement initiatives. Extensive knowledge of the talent management function, including the ability to demonstrate learning and development strategies. Experience with administering compensation practices. Must be able to travel up to 20%. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint, Workday experience preferred. Professionally certified as Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) is strongly preferred. Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises at least one non-exempt HR staff member. May supervise one or more exempt-level HR staff members. Salary Range: $82,000.00 - $126,000.00 PRA Group has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, specific working location and market position. This posted salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, and PRA Group reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the qualifications and location of the selected candidate. In addition to base salary, PRA may offer additional benefits to include performance based bonus programs and/or equity programs depending on the position.
