Senior IT Vendor Procurement Analyst

Seeking a seasoned Senior IT Vendor Procurement Analyst for a six-month temp-to-perm role. This is a hybrid position offers the flexibility of working three days remotely and two days onsite in North Miami.

Job Title: Digital Vendor Management Specialist Department: Digital Technology Reports To: Sr. Director, Digital Transformation and PMO Summary: The Digital Vendor Management Specialist is responsible for managing relationships with technology vendors, ensuring that they meet the needs of the organization. This position requires a deep understanding of technology trends, vendor management best practices, and contract negotiation. Duties and Responsibilities:

? Develop and maintain relationships with technology vendors ? Negotiate and manage contracts with technology vendors ? Ensure that technology vendors meet the organization's needs ? Manage the vendor lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding ? Track and manage vendor performance ? Identify and mitigate vendor risks ? Stay up-to-date on technology trends ? Provide input on technology purchasing decisions ? Work with other IT staff to implement and support technology solutions ? Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion ? Review payment request for proper approval and circulate documents as necessary ? Examine the mathematical accuracy of payment request ? Allocate invoice amounts to departmental/intercompany and general ledger accounts ? Input transactions to the accounts payable system ? Investigate and respond to accounts payable inquiries ? Work in a shared services accounts payable department /procure to pay process, responsible for processing payables for multiple locations ? Make timely payments for all expenses Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: ? Strong understanding of technology trends and vendor management best practices ? Excellent written and verbal communication skills ? Excellent negotiation and communication skills ? Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously ? Ability to work independently and as part of a team ? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ? Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite ? Ability to research discrepancies of invoices in a timely manner ? Must be detail-oriented ? Good customer service and overall understanding of accounting, exposure to management reporting systems ? Strong organizational, time management and prioritization abilities ? High degree of professionalism ? Ability to communicate with various levels of management ? Spoken and written fluency in English Education and Experience: ? Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, or a related field ? 3+ years of experience in technology vendor management ? Proven track record of success in negotiating and managing contracts ? Strong understanding of IT procurement processes
