Senior Manager Compensation

As a Senior Manager of Compensation, you'll manage the Compensation Team and large complex projects.

We are looking for:
- 9+ years of experience in Comp / HR; leadership experience
- expertise in Excel data-modeling
Management/Advising:
- Oversees work of Compensation Advisors and enterprise programs
- Manages large / highly complex Compensation programs for multiple clients
- Consults with HRIS Team on HRIS process, system enhancements, and technology solutions
- Leads / participates in multi-discipline teams
- Advises and consults on PSP, Long Term Variable Pay, 401k, Regulatory compliance, Exec Compensation
- Develops highly complex costing models and analyses for the Team, HR, and other H-E-B clients; recommends solutions
- Drives strategic direction of broad Compensation programs, policies, and processes
- Provides subject matter expertise on H-E-B Compensation philosophy and strategy
- Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field, or comparable experience
- 9+ years of experience in Compensation or business, including (but not limited to) total rewards, variable and short- / long-term incentive plans
- 2 years of experience in a leadership role
- Expert modeling skills in Excel; PC skills including MS Office, HRIS
- Advanced analytical, project management, organization skills
- Advanced written / verbal communication and presentation skills
- Negotiation and influencing skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong collaborative work-style
- Function in a fast-paced, retail, office environment
- Travel by car or plane with overnight stays
- Sit for extended periods; work extended hours
