What You’ll Do

As the ESG Controller, you will lead the reporting strategy of climate-related disclosures and other ESG policies and laws for DSA.

You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing environmental, social, and governance initiatives within our organization. You will work closely with various departments to integrate sustainability practices into our business strategies and operations, ensuring alignment with our corporate values and objectives.

Location: Hybrid, working onsite at our San Jose, CA headquarters 3 days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time.

  • ESG Reporting: Oversee the preparation and dissemination of ESG reports, disclosures, and communications for internal and external stakeholders, including sustainability reports, proxy statements, executive briefings and investor presentations. Develops ESG measurement and reporting policies for DSA.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate ESG-related risks and opportunities and integrate ESG considerations into enterprise risk management processes. Utilizes familiarity with operational and financial data – and ability to connect different domains to provide clear risk assessment and measurement with scenario forecasting to ensure plans stay on track.
  • Global legislation expertise: Understand global legislation and guidelines on ESG-related reporting matters.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree and 15 years of experience in finance, accounting, environmental science, sustainability, business administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred. Dual degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in ESG reporting and measurement, carbon accounting, corporate responsibility, or related field, with a proven track record of teamwork, leadership and achievement.
  • Accounting/finance experience, semiconductor industry experience preferred.
  • Deep understanding of the new ESG laws (e.g. SEC Reporting Rules, SB 261, SB 253, CSRD), frameworks, standards, and reporting guidelines (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD, ISSB, CSRD), as well as relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Skills in financial reporting principles and researching of new trends, benchmarking analysis.
  • Relevant professional certifications and CPA required.

Individual pay rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location, as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education, and training. Base Pay Range

$160,930—$257,070 USD
