The Senior Manager, Production & Supply Planning will report to the Executive Director of Supply Chain.

You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the production planning, inventory management, and supply planning to ensure efficient and timely production and distribution of products. This role requires strategic planning, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to meet the company's production and supply chain objectives. Ensuring constant and clear communication with our Contract Manufacture's, Component Vendors, Raw Material Suppliers, 3PL's and Kitting Houses.

Overall Responsibilities:

Production Planning:

  • Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demand and inventory targets.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure seamless production flow.
  • Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions to address deviations from plans.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
  • Lead projects aimed at reducing lead times, costs, and waste

Supply Planning:

  • Develop and implement Supply Planning schedules that ensure the timely transfer of inventory from our Domestic 3PL's to our INTL 3PL's.
  • Coordinate with the logistics and INTL 3PL's to ensure product is received On time and in Full.
  • Monitor the INTL Sales performance in concert with the Demand Planning team to make the necessary changes to the Supply Plan to support the business.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.

Inventory Management:

  • Maintain Finished Good inventory levels across all Domestic and INTL 3PL's in accordance with our SS Targets.
  • Maintain Component and Raw Material inventory levels across all Contract Manufactures in accordance with our SS Targets.
  • Implement inventory control procedures to minimize obsolescence and excess stock.
  • Assist in regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a team of production planners and supply planners.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment.
  • Conduct performance reviews and identify development opportunities for team members.

Performance Metrics:

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for production and supply chain activities.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and make informed decisions.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain management, or a related field, with at least 3+ years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning systems, ERP software, and supply chain management tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities.
  • Certification in APICS CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent is a plus.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to operate effectively and efficiently on a somewhat independent level.
  • A strong business sense and experience operating in small to medium-sized business environment.
  • Beauty Industry experience is preferred.
  • Must be able to work a hybrid schedule (1-3 days per week in our NYC Office).

Salary Range

$100,000—$115,000 USD

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
