Department Overview

New Product Introduction is a critical phase in the supply chain that involves the planning, design, development, and launch of a new product. It is a complex process that requires collaboration among various departments, including product development, manufacturing, marketing, planning, and logistics.

Job Description

A New Product Introduction (NPI) Project Manager is responsible for the successful implementation and distribution of new products for our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Launch: Managing the launch aspects of new products
• Quality control: Ensuring that quality control meets all project requirements
• Coordination: Working with management and stakeholders to schedule activities and coordinate between teams
• Budgeting: Handling budgeting for the project
• Cross-functional teams: Overseeing and managing cross-functional project teams, such as regulatory, marketing, medical, sales, finance, quality assurance, and industrial operations
• Communication: Liaising with all areas of the company, from sales to design, to ensure smooth and timely delivery of each product
• People management: Having direct people management responsibility, including staffing and performance development
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills written and verbal
• 5 plus years of experience working as a Senior Project Manager preferred
• 5 plus years of experience managing and leading teams
• Great organizational skills
• Time management skills
• Strong Leadership skills
• Weekly reports
  
  

Basic Requirements

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or Management
• PMP certification required.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
