What You’ll Do

The Management of Workplace Experience Team focuses on hospitality, soft services, supporting our employees and associated amenities. This includes but is not limited to VIP Events, Catering, Food/Office Coffee Services, Janitorial, Fleet/Transportation, Shipping/Receiving, Fitness, Regional Services, etc.

Leadership in the Workplace Solutions Organization is key to the success of the team. You will have the opportunity to partner with with other leaders in Corporate Real Estate, Project Management Office, Facilities Management and associated departments.

Location: Onsite at our San Jose office/headquarters 5 days a week with an average of 5-10% travel per month

Reports to: Senior Director, WSG

Hospitality

  • High-end VIP event management and execution, high level of customer service with problem solving skills and relationship building skills.
  • Oversee and improve café/event management, coffee program, VP phone support management, and other workplace experience related areas.

Professional Corporate Environment

  • Efficiently work cross functionally for collaboration and communication with working experience on CRM.
  • Have a strong experience in working in corporate environment, lead in business strategy with storytelling skills and be able to build effective business cases.

Financial Acumen

  • Manage overall team budget, own and develop detail plans for service implementations or changes that impact the budget.
  • Set SLAs, SOPs, and objectives for improving team performance and KPIs for vendor performance management.
  • Maintain all general service vendor contracts. Coordinate cancellation and renewal of contracts in a timely manner.
  • Prepare vendor list for services, benchmark and develop service vendor scope of work, contact vendors for proposals, evaluate and recommend selection of vendors for RFP.
  • Conduct QBRs and vendor scorecards ratings to efficiently manage vendors and report up to management on performance and accomplishments.

Workplace

  • Responsible for leading the Workplace Experience team for management of vendors with a full understanding of services and scopes being provided along with the spending/financial data.
  • Have a strong understanding of project management and workplace experience areas such as janitorial, fleet, and transportation services.

High-Tech Company

  • Review quarterly and semi-annual reports for usage to verify and analyze order trends and able to adapt and implement new technology tools for data analysis.
  • Experience working with expats and strong understanding of different cultures from overseas HQ such as Samsung in South Korea.

What You Bring

  • Bachelors with 15+ years of relevant industry experience or Masters with 10+ years from an accredited college or university in hospitality, business, facility, communications, project/event management, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with hospitality, real estate, operations, office services functions, and with direct experience in a facilities department.
  • Proficient with software programs including Microsoft Office; Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and quickly learn internal systems.
  • Experience in managing a Workplace and Facilities Management team with proficient working knowledge of building infrastructures and mission critical assets.
  • Strong understanding of financial management, experience in efficiently managing budget, and able to effectively report up to CFO organization.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, including international and ex-pat employees.
  • Critical thinker and proactively identify issues and propose solutions.
  • Work well under pressure and within time constraints in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multi-task with attention to details.
  • Ability to build relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Capable of working with ambiguity and change.

Individual pay rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location, as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education, and training. Base Pay Range

$160,930—$257,070 USD
