Client Overview
Client is focused on expanding its Procurement services and consulting in North America, offering an exciting opportunity for individuals with Procurement expertise and implementation experience.
The position involves managing a team of local professionals to provide solutions to clients, reporting to the Managing Director.
Responsibilities
Growing Procurement Vertical:
Build Procurement Consulting & Outsourcing capability by creating a knowledge repository, conducting training sessions, and developing impactful case studies.
Enhance visibility by representing Client at various events and positioning Client as a strategic partner to industry clients.
Lead business development efforts by acquiring new customers, maintaining existing client relationships, and sharing market updates with Client leadership.
Solutioning And Expertise
Translate clients' requirements into customized solutions in Strategic Sourcing, purchase-to-pay services procurement, and category management.
Deliver measurable results to clients, act as the primary point of contact, and ensure client satisfaction.
Co-ordinate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve results and lead proposal development activities leveraging existing relationships.
Requirements
Key Skills:
Hands-on understanding of Procurement Consulting & Outsourcing solutions in various industries.
Proven track record in delivering Procurement Consulting & Outsourcing solutions and understanding related technologies.
Ability to network, negotiate, and provide consultative solutions to clients.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Procurement tools such as Coupa procurement, Oracle, SAP Ariba, and Ivalua.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's in Engineering/Finance, MBA (Finance/Operations Management)/APICS.
6 to 8 years of post-MBA experience (preferably 2-3 years in the healthcare industry).
